Replacement Glazing

Quality Replacement Glazing

Envisage Windows and Doors can offer replacement glass units to your existing windows and often doors. You could want an upgrade for a decorative design on your glass or a different obscurity, looking to reduce noise or improve on solar control.

Alternatively, you could have condensation in your glass unit, meaning the seal is broken, the glass is ‘blown’ and moisture is in between the panes. No matter the reasoning, Envisage Windows and Doors will be able to work with you to find a solution.

Why choose replacement glazing?

Failed seals on glazing cause condensation between panes (“fogging”). Replacing just the glass restores the window’s performance without the cost of a full window replacement.
New double or triple glazing can dramatically reduce heat loss improving the energy efficiency within your home. In turn lower energy bills and makes your home more comfortable all year round.
Old, misted, or damaged glazing can make a property look tired. Fresh, clear glazing instantly improves appearance without needing to replace the entire frame. With options to add bars, lead designs and colours. Upgraded glazing is additionally a selling point, signalling energy efficiency and modern upkeep to buyers.
Improved technology options include low-E coatings, acoustic glass (for noise reduction), solar control glass, or even self-cleaning glass. Whilst home security options are toughened or laminated safety glass, offering better protection against break-ins compared to older glass. You can tailor your replacement to meet specific needs.

Age – Over 20 years may need to be replaced.

Signs they are damaged – Rot, warping, issues opening and closing, condensation, cracks, draughts and noise.

All the above are indicators you may need replacements.

You can buy the windows from us and fit yourself. However, installations must confirm to Building regulations. Having Envisage install your windows, means the installation is under FENSA. Carried out inline to all approved standards and registered with the local authority correctly. And you will have the certification to show.
